•More than half the RR interval
•Time for ventricular depol and repolarization
•Shorter with tachycardia
•Longer with bradycardia
•Risk for ventricular arrhythmias/Torsades

- Severe Bradycardia/AV Block
- Hypothyroid
- CVA (intraparenchymal)
- Elevated intracranial pressure and Intracranial hemorrhage
- MI
Treatment
•Monitored Bed
