Picture
Electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation and triage remains both a common and critical task for emergency department physicians.  Despite the importance of both timely and accurate interpretation, ECG teaching remains widely varied among emergency medicine residencies.  To this end, we collaborated with our cardiology team to create a teaching module covering 18 “can’t miss” EKGs. While going through the cases, in addition to your interpretation, consider what critical actions need to be taken based on the ECG findings.
